HINDUSTAN MOTORS, THIRUVALLUR :: 1989
40 Tonne Dumper The older range of Hindustan Motors' earthmoving equipment was based on GM-Terex designs, a throwback to a collaboration in the 1970s. One such product, the conventional-control 1035 rear dumper needed attention due to problems occuring on the bodywork for field operation and maintenance. Design revisions provided a safe approach for ingress and comfortable platforms for engine serviceability.
Safe service | The old Terex machine above is devoid of safe access and serviceability. By extending the bodywork with catwalk-style fenders, the international norm for visible forward entry was achieved along with providing platforms for engine service and comfortable access to the cab.
