LAKSHMI MILLS, COIMBATORE :: 1991
Basic Commuter Megha was Mirajker Design's entry to the International Car Design Competition at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The theme, Basic Personal Transportation, involved the creation of the smallest possible car, practical for city commuting and shopping.
Inspiration | The micro Japanese commercial vehicles were the source of inspiration for this tightly-packaged multi-adaptive vehicle. The overall dimensions of a Bajaj commercial 3-wheeler were referenced as the physical limits of this car.
