   Layout
The finished turntable used sheet slabs of Corian and was composed of cut-pieces glued together using prescribed adhesives in an assembly jig. The design has architectural connotations in a semi-exposed aesthetic appeal, is rugged and static free. Synthetic stone | The finished turntable had a very heavy mass and rigid structure, both assets for high quality audio reproduction. Touches of contrast to the Corian material included acrylic, stainless steel, and brushed aluminium finishes to accentuate details.
